Seven session intensive for playwrights | Industry Loft, Los Angeles

April 23 - June 4, 2026

• Is it too technically challenging? 

• Too long, or short? 

The truth is that we playwrights can dream up whatever we want to, and are often dismayed into disregarding our impulses. Theater is begging for big ideas that prove the mold moldable, and needs you.  

In this 7-week workshop, we will develop your impossible play with actors, on our feet, every week, at The Industry Loft in Hollywood. Three writers will present each week (1 hour per writer) to workshop new scenes that push the writer's limits, or feel untenable. The goal is to leave the workshop having demonstrated to yourself, other writers and actors that your idea is possible ... by doing it. 

The workshop meets in person: 

Thursdays from 7-10p

April 23 - June 4, 2026

Workshop fee of $450 helps cover rent, actor and facilitator stipends. 

Parking is free on Highland.
